Christianity means community through Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ. No Christian community is more or less than this. Whether it be a brief, single encounter or the daily fellowship of years, Christian community is only this. We belong to one another only through and in Jesus Christ.

- Life Together, D. Bonhoeffer

While we do not believe that the internet can be a substitute for authentic Christian community, we do believe the internet is a means for individuals across the Covenant to stay connected, share and learn from each other. The Evangelical Covenant Church, Mission Friends, has a rich tradition of engaging in thoughtful, and sometimes not so thoughtful, dialogue through publications such as "Missions Vannen," "Pietisten," and "The Chicago Bladet," among others. Today, that tradition continues through The Covenant Companion, The Narthex, The Covenant Quarterly, and other conference and local church publications.

However, with the advent of the internet and blogging, it is easier to stay in touch with the day to day lives of people all over the world. It is with this in mind that we wanted to collate all of the 21st century publications, if you will, of people and churches affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church.

It is our hope that this space becomes a meeting place, of sorts, for people across the Covenant, to stay connected, learn from each other, and explore life together.
